Dealing with anxiety

Unfortunately, we all deal with mental health issues at one time or another. If you find yourself stressed over things you cannot control try painting, music or meditation. I turn to art as a way to express myself and deal with anxiety. Art is a way to calm anxiety and de-stress. I find myself painting a lot recently to quiet my mind and nerves. People deal with anxiety in different ways so find a method that works for you, I enjoy music and painting. What helps you de-stress?
Additionally, if your anxiety or mood disorder is severe I strongly recommend to establish with a professional therapist or psychiatrist to discuss the underlying causes and how to manage with CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and/or medications.
Avoid triggers if you can and try to focus on things in your environment that you can control. For me, self-care is critical for relaxation and good sleep. Try going out to your favorite restaurant, take a hot bath with magnesium Epsom salts for relaxation, spending time with loved ones, and listening to your favorite music. Going outside and spending time in nature and spending time with family or pets can do wonders for mental health. Enjoy at least one sunset daily! Try positive thinking as positive energy is infectious.

For me, self care is critical for me to be healthy and happy. You must take care of yourself to be the best mother, father, friend, human you can be. I also enjoy shows with humor because we have to laugh at ourselves at times. Laughter is the best medicine!
Gardening is another great way to get dirty in the Earth and to get grounded!
